Summary
With the IRS sending notices to over 10 million non-filers, and with most audits being done through automation, the need for trained practitioners who know what they are doing has never been higher. Presented by an attorney who has real-life experience, you learn about the IRS audit process, IRS notices, Power of Attorney issues, the taxpayer interview, records and QuickBooks, issues surrounding cash intensive businesses, hobby loss considerations, fraud concerns, reconstructing records, and how to file and prepare an appeal. You’ll leave with an understanding of what to do and not do during the audit process and actions to take if the examiner is being difficult.
