Busy tax office is seeking a tax preparer with a current PTIN (preferred).  Must have good analytical skills be able to provide quality customer service and enjoy interacting with a clients during tax time.  This is intended to be a reoccurring seasonal (January-April) position for 25-40+ hours per week.


Duties & Responsibilities:

·          Advise clients in the tax preparation process and prepare and file tax documents

·          prepare basic federal and state tax returns (SCH EIC, C & E)

·          verify tax returns for accuracy prior to e-filing

·          conduct face to face interviews with clients


Must have:

·          experience completing individual tax returns

·          experience using tax preparation software
