Reviewing Forms 1099-INT, DIV and B On-Demand Webinar
Summary
Several very common forms taxpayers will present to their tax preparers this tax season are Form 1099-INT, Interest Income; Form 1099-DIV, Dividends and Distributions; and Form 1099-B, Proceeds From Broker and Barter Exchange Transactions. This webinar reviews reporting interest and dividends on Schedule B, Interest and Ordinary Dividends; and stock sales on Form 8949, Sales and Other Dispositions of Capital Assets, and Schedule D, Capital Gains and Losses. In addition, we will define the difference between ordinary and qualified dividends, review the capital gains rates and identify when wash sale rules apply.
