Child and Dependent Care Credit Benefits Webinar

Summary

Taxpayers who pay for the care of a qualifying person so they can work or look for work may be entitled to the child and dependent care tax credit. In addition, certain taxpayers may be eligible for a pre-tax dependent care benefit (DCB) through their employer’s flex spending account (FSA). During this webinar, we will review the requirements for the child and dependent care tax credit and the pre-tax DCB. Additionally, we will walk through preparing Form 2441, Child and Dependent Care Expenses, to calculate the tax credit and reconcile the nontaxable and taxable portions of the DCB.
