Guiding Clients with Estates in Choosing Gifts or Bequests Webinar
Summary
Estate planning isn’t just for wealthy taxpayers. Generally, taxpayers have the option to gift assets during their life or through inheritance after death. Each choice has different tax implications, and choosing which option is best for the taxpayer is a tax planning opportunity. This webinar provides the information required to help tax preparers assist their clients with this decision. You’ll leave with the understanding of how to best use the taxpayer’s unified tax credit and the deceased spousal unused exemption (DSUE).
