State News

Given all of the changes taking place at the Connecticut Department of Revenue Services (DRS), the agency has decided to revive its Annual Practitioner Letter as another vehicle to communicate with their stakeholders. In this publication:

  • An update on the DRS multi-year IT modernization initiative, including information on myconneCT, the new online tax filing system that will launch in May.
  • Several reminders for practitioners (and taxpayers) for this individual income tax filing season.
  • 1099G Connecticut State Unemployment forms

The State of Connecticut, Department of Labor provides 1099G Connecticut State Unemployment forms available on their Internet web site.

Go to www.ctdol.state.ct.us. That will take you to the Department of Labor web site. Directly under the Department of Labor name is a maroon box that says 1099G forms are available on the Internet. Click on this box and you will go to a screen that will take you to the page to request the 1099G. To obtain the 1099G you will need the individual's Social Security Number, Date of Birth, and name.
