SC NATP Fall Conference and Annual Meeting
The South Carolina Chapter Annual Meeting will be held during this event as well as the following education:
- What We Know Now will look at what we have learned from the recent tax law changes.
- Injured and Innocent Spouse session addresses both the Injured Spouse Allocation and the many faceted Innocent Spouse position for tax relief.
- When a Client Dies will assist the tax professional in sorting out what goes where (706, 1041 and final 1040) as well as the preparation of these returns by the use of a case study.
- Ins and Outs of ABLE Accounts examines the ABLE and addresses the taxability of distributions.
- All Things Crypto is a brief overview on the reporting requirements and tax consequences of cryptocurrency ownership.
- Ins and Outs of Rental Activities will examine rental activity, converting the home to rental, real estate professionals, and the new repair/depreciation rules.
- Operating and Ethical Practice will cover changes to how tax practices are handled. Due Diligence, Best Practices, and Safeguarding Taxpayer’s Information which are essential components to an ethical and successful tax practice.
