General Education Information
Registrations will be processed in the order they are received, provided payment accompanies the registration and space is available. There will be an additional per-day processing fee for those participants registering fewer than 10 days prior to an in-person seminar, and an additional extra fee for those paying at the door. You are considered registered when payment is received.
Because our courses are so popular, many of the locations fill up quickly. Register early to be assured of a seat. Waiting lists, alternate locations and other delivery methods may be available for the sessions once they become full.
Your registration confirmation will be sent via email. Please bring your confirmation to the workshop. If you do not receive a confirmation email prior to the workshop date, please call us to verify your reservation.
CPE certificates will be available after the workshop electronically in
My CPE Certificates. You will receive an email when your electronic certificate is available.
To cancel your registration, you must notify Member Services prior to the start of the course. Administrative fees may be withheld from your refund. Please refer to the specific course’s registration page for that event’s refund policy, as it varies.
We reserve the right to cancel workshops or events for any reason, at any time. In the rare case of a cancellation, we are not responsible for travel or hotel expenses for attendees.
For more information regarding refund, complaint and/or program cancellation policies, please contact our offices at 800-558-3402.
Registration substitutions are accepted, provided the transferee pays any applicable fee difference.
For the comfort and health of all attendees, all events are smoke-free.
Pictures, web cameras, video and/or audio taping is prohibited.
Explanation of Levels
We acknowledge that tax professionals vary greatly in their experience and in the type of tax returns that they prepare. We have described sessions according to the following guidelines:
A basic level is most beneficial to individuals new to a skill. These programs may also benefit a seasoned professional with limited exposure to the subject area.
An intermediate level builds on a basic program and is most appropriate for the individuals with detailed knowledge in a particular topic.
An advanced level is most useful for individuals with mastery of the particular topic. This level focuses on the development of in-depth knowledge.
An update level gives a general review of new developments. This level is for individuals with a background in the subject area who desire to keep current.
An overview level provides a general review of a subject area from a broad perspective.
Most hotels will reserve a block of sleeping rooms at special rates for attendees until approximately four (4) weeks prior to the workshop. To obtain preferred rates when you contact the hotel, please specify that you are attending an NATP educational program.
When selecting a workshop location, we make every attempt to find facilities that offer a convenient location, great meeting rooms and free parking. Some facilities have paid parking. We recommend checking with facility personnel for options.
If you require special accommodations while attending an event, please note this on your registration or call Member Services at 800-558-3402, ext. 3.
Seminar on-site check-in begins one-half hour prior to all workshops. All on-site registrants will be charged an administrative fee in addition to the original registration cost.
