National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) announces Alabama as 2025 Chapter of the Year
The National Association of Tax Professionals (NATP) has named its Alabama chapter as the 2025 Chapter of the Year. Each year, NATP honors one of its chapters nationwide based on a combination of membership growth, outstanding education offerings, consistent communication, and exceptional volunteerism.
The Alabama chapter stood out for its notable increase in membership, dedication to providing valuable education sessions, proactive member communication and robust volunteer participation.
“We're incredibly proud of the Alabama chapter and the amazing work they've accomplished,” said Amanda Schumacher, NATP chapter program manager. “Their focus on education and strong engagement has created tremendous value for our members and serves as a fantastic example for other chapters.”
The Texas chapter earned second place due to its exceptional educational events, networking opportunities and communication initiatives. Michigan secured third place for its strong educational programs and consistent communication with members.
