Please respect the hours listed. If you request a volunteer to return your call, be willing to accept a collect call. Please read all instructions in the listing. If the person asks for e-mail only, please do not call.

Would you like to volunteer to help other members?
We can't do it without you. Our research staff answers thousands of federal tax questions each year, but we depend on volunteer members like you to help out on state and local tax issues. If you're interested in joining our volunteer team for the coming tax season, or if you want to renew your commitment from last year (for which we thank you, by the way!), please let us know. Here's what we'll need from you:
- Your name and title if any (EA, CPA, etc.)
- Your phone number (and fax number or e-mail address if you want this information published as well)
- The city, state, or country for which you have expertise
- The times during which you will be available to answer members questions - during both tax and nontax seasons.
You are not expected to furnish state or local tax forms. And, although volunteers usually offer their services at no cost, you may charge a fee for services like providing complex advice or placing long distance phone calls. That decision is yours.
