We will review the IRS rules for self-employment income, what types of income are subject to the self-employment tax treatment and which ones are exceptions. The Sch C will be reviewed in depth including vehicle expenses, depreciation, COGS, and home office expenses. We will also review the new Self-Employed Health Insurance (SEHI) calculation form 7206 and how income from partnerships can trigger both SE tax and allow SEHI in some cases.
