NATP is known for excellent education that allows you to provide the best possible service to your clients. Virtual Tax Forum is a new online event experience and you may have questions.
What is a virtual event?
Virtual Tax Forum will be hosted on a virtual event platform that combines community features, integrated webinars and live video to deliver you interactive education from the comfort of your home or office through a website. You'll be able to build your own calendar of sessions to attend, ask instructors questions, attend virtual meet-ups and visit the virtual expo hall.
What is included in the event registration?
Event registration includes access to a choice of sessions streamed live. You'll be able to earn CPE for the sessions that you attend live. Please see the Agenda & Sessions section for CPE details.
Each session includes handouts that contain supplemental information — this information will be available to download, or you can add on a print textbook to your registration. The textbook will be mailed to you prior to the event if purchased before Oct. 8. Session slides will also be available to download.
Registration also includes the ability to ask questions during live sessions to instructors via chat and on video afterwards in our Q&A rooms. You'll also receive access to our virtual expo hall to meet with exhibitors, enter giveaways and attend live demos.
How do I earn CPE?
To earn CPE, you must respond to at least 70% of the polling questions and you must be logged in for at least 90% of the presentation.
What are the computer requirements to attend?
You can access Virtual Tax Forum using a compatible computer or tablet. Before the event, we'll remind all registrants to test their systems to ensure the best experience. However, generally, you'll need an internet connection that is 1 Mbps or better (broadband recommended) and a recently updated web browser like Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. There is no app.
To participate in the instructor Q&A sessions, attend demos and visit the virtual expo hall, you'll need to install “Zoom Client for Meetings” at zoom.us/download.
