NATP is known for excellent education that allows you to provide the best possible service to your clients. Below are some answers to common questions about our new event, TaxCon.

We hope you'll be able to join us from July 27-31, or when most convenient for you with on-demand sessions! We'll cover the pressing tax issues using compelling real-life stories to present practical applications of tax laws.

What is a virtual event?

TaxCon will be hosted on a virtual event platform that combines community features, integrated webinars and live video to deliver you interactive education from the comfort of your home or office through a website. You'll be able to build your own calendar of sessions to attend, ask instructors questions, attend virtual meet-ups and visit the virtual Expo Hall.

Stay tuned for a video demo of our platform!

What is included in the event registration?

Event registration includes access to all sessions that will be streamed live and available after the event as on-demand. You'll be able to earn CPE for all events that qualify. Please see the Agenda & Sessions section for CPE details. On-demand sessions are available through April 30, 2021.

Each session includes handouts that contain supplemental information — this information will be available in a  downloadable format, or you can add a print textbook with your registration. The textbook will be mailed to you prior to the event.

Registration also includes the option to ask questions during live sessions to instructors, meet with other attendees and chapter leaders in breakout rooms as well as meet with exhibitors in the expo hall.

How do I earn CPE?

For sessions that you attend live, you must respond to at least 70% of the polling questions that are asked by the instructor and you must be logged in for at least 90% of the presentation.

To receive credit for on-demand sessions, you must make at least one attempt to answer each of the review questions included with the video. You also must successfully pass the course exam with a score of 70% or better.

What are the computer requirements to attend?

You can access TaxCon using a compatible computer or tablet. Before the event, we'll remind you to test your system to guarantee the best experience. However, generally, you'll need an internet connection that is 1 Mbps or better (broadband recommended) and a recently updated web browser like Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.
