Chapter BylawsClick here to download the Tennesee Chapter Bylaws in .pdf format. The Tennessee Association of NATP voted Saturday, November 1, 2003, to submit an amendment to the TN Bylaws to the membership for approval. This proposed amendment will come up for vote at the Association Annual Meeting in 2004. The proposed amendment calls for removal of a Board member by the membership rather than by the other Board members. If a majority of voting members approve this amendment next year, Article IV, Section 7 of the TN Bylaws, when adopted, will read as follows: Board member removal. The membership, by a two-thirds vote of members present at any regular or special meeting, may reprimand, suspend, or remove a Board member for neglect, incapacity, malfeasance, or disloyalty to the Association or the NATP. The unexcused absence of any Board member from two (2) consecutive regular meetings shall constitute neglect. The Board shall consider each absence as a separate circumstance and may find that absences are justified.
