How the Online Courses WorkWe're sure you'll get the hang of the course pretty quickly and if you ever need help – we are here! These online courses are priced at $25 per CPE for members and $30 per CPE for nonmembers. CPE credits for facilitated online courses are available for Enrolled Agents, CFP's, and members of CTEC. All others should check with their state for CPE approval. Due to the limited number of available openings for these courses, a $25 cancellation fee will be applied. You must, however, cancel your registration at least two days prior to the event. No refunds will be provided after the start of the course. The classes each have minimum participation of 5 and maximum participation of 20. If the minimum number of attendees is not met by the Wednesday before the class begins, the class will be cancelled and you will have the option of transferring to another session of the same class or having your registration fee refunded. You can participate anytime and as often as you like during the course. We suggest you spend about an hour a day participating in the online course for maximum effectiveness. Refer to Online Course Policies for more details. With each course, a facilitator will help you through the class and assist you in your learning process. Facilitators are there to pose questions to get you thinking critically about the material, also to help answer questions that you or others may have on the material. Of course, one of the best aspects of this learning method is that the entire group of students can share input and opinions. And, class sizes are limited so you can get the most out of your learning. You can use any computer with access to the Internet to participate; however, a broadband/high speed Internet connection (e.g., DSL, RoadRunner, cable modem) is required. No technical skill or knowledge is needed to participate. All you need to know is how to get onto the Internet. That's it. Easy. Simple. NATP's facilitated online courses require the participant to read the material and to communicate with the class online. The time commitment required is at least one hour per CPE; however, more time spent will enhance the learning process.
