Chapter Education

SAVE THE DATE, FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH.

Looking for a great way to spend an after tax season Friday afternoon? On June 6th our Chapter will meet at noon in Waterbury at the Courtyard Marriott.

We will begin with lunch, followed by presentations from Joseph McCarthy's group at the IRS. Joe is IRS senior stakeholder laison. He is a very welcome guest who always provides us with great speakers on current topics. We also hope to have a round table discussion with fellow members to discuss office data security and client management issues.

You should soon receive an email with information in regard to registering for our "summer outing". If you have any questions, please contact Jerry Van Duinen at 203-245-3004, jerryvan@snet.net.

All are welcome. Members and non members. Feel free to bring a friend, colleague, co-worker.

Chapter News

The Connecticut Chapter of NATP will hold its annual meeting on Friday, June 6th, at the Waterbury Courtyard Marriott at noon. The meeting will be followed by lunch and an afternoon education session. Please plan to join us.

Current Board member, John Littel, is developing a system whereby members would be able to help other members in times of difficulty.  DAVIS, Disaster Assurance Volunteers in Service, is a benefit you can elect in order to help your CT NATP members in times of need...and they would serve you in your time of need.  Disasters can strike at any time: fire, flood, personal accident, sickness, hospitalization...how do we keep our practices functioning when we are not????

DAVIS is a new concept, still in the development stage.  If you would like to learn more about DAVIS or if you would like to help John develop this program, please contact him at JLTAX@JLTAX.com or 203-481-0468.

Are you interested in helping our CT State Chapter?  We are currently seeking new Board members. Being on the State Chapter Board is a great way to expand your professional contacts, network, and help serve our Connecticut constituents.  Please consider joining.  Feel free to contact any current Board member to discuss responsibilities, time commitments, etc.
