
Special EventsNATP Chapter Presidents' Meeting Sunday, July 19 – Crystal Ballroom 1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. This year's Chapter Presidents' Meeting will be hosted by the NATP National Board of Directors, specifically for Chapter Presidents or their Vice Presidents. Chapter leaders are invited to listen in to the meeting to gain valuable insight into Chapter issues and strategy. This will be an open meeting and discussion with the National Board members.
NATP Chapter Leadership Session Sunday, July 19 – Crystal Ballroom 3:15 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Don't miss the training event of the year for Chapter leaders and those interested in becoming Chapter leaders. Receive knowledge, tools, and advice from this interactive session that brings together a variety of ideas from fellow leaders, members of the National Board of Directors, and Paul Cinquemani and Jean Anderson from the National Office. This session will include: - An update from Paul on what's happening to the tax profession in Washington, D.C. and across the country.
- A presentation from Jean on newsletter tips, traps, and capabilities.
- Round-table discussions and brainstorming activities to exchange leadership ideas.

Expo Hall Monday, July 20 – Summit Pavilion 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21 – Summit Pavilion 7:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. We have lined up a wonderfully varied list of exhibitors for this year's event. These vendors are ready to share the latest must-have products and services with you. Bring lots of business cards with you to drop in the drawings for a chance to win great prizes! Prize winners will be announced on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. While you're in the Expo Hall, stop by the NATP booth to meet some of the staff members, fi nd general information, receive research assistance, and purchase NATP logo items. For the most up-to-date list of vendors, click here. Lunch Coupons Full Conference registrants and spouse/guests will receive lunch coupons for use in the Expo Hall on Monday and Tuesday.
Annual Meeting and Opening Assembly Monday, July 20 – Reno Ballroom 8:45 a.m. – 10:45 a.m. Experience the excitement that comes with the official start of the 2009 National Conference at the Opening Assembly. This session begins with our Annual Meeting, followed by recognition of award recipients, and concluding with our Keynote Speaker, IRS Deputy Commissioner, Faris Fink, Small Business/Self-Employed (SB/SE) Division.
Charity Auction Tuesday, July 21 – Grand Salon 5:40 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Come bid on the many valuable items included in this year's NATP Board of Directors' Charity Auction. All proceeds benefit a deserving Reno-area organization.
Chapter Showcase Tuesday, July 21 – Summit Pavilion 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. This is the place to learn all about the great benefits that come with NATP Chapter involvement while enjoying the camaraderie of the festivities. Complimentary hors d'oeuvres will be served and a cash bar will be available. All Conference attendees are encouraged to attend this event.
Becoming a Candidate for the National Board of Directors Q & A Wednesday, July 22 – Sierra 1 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. The National Board of Directors will be hosting a Question & Answer session on "Becoming a Candidate for the National Board of Directors." If you have ever considered running for the National Board, this Q & A session will be perfect for you. The National Board members will be available to answer any questions you may have regarding this process and the duties of a National Board member.
Annual Banquet Gala Thursday, July 23 – Reno Ballroom 6:00 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. The Banquet Gala is the best way to formally bring to a close the 2009 Conference. This event includes a cash bar reception followed by award recognition, dinner, and entertainment. Full Conference and spouse/guests registrations include admission to this special semi-formal event. After dinner, you can be the STAR at one of the funniest live corporate entertainment shows you will ever see. It is not an exaggeration to say that once the Hypnotist Show gets rolling, the laughter is non-stop. This engaging Corporate Comedy Hypnotist Show combines audience participation, music, and the unpredictability of improvisational comedy. Hypnotized volunteers role-play in humorous comedy hypnotist routines that are not offensive or embarrassing in any way.
