Registration and Help Desk

    The registration and help desk will be open:

    • Sunday, July 19 ...............12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
    • Monday, July 20 ............... 6:45 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
    • Tuesday, July 21 .............. 6:45 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
    • Wednesday, July 22 ......... 6:45 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Thursday, July 23 ............ 6:45 a.m. – 4:45 p.m.

Continuing Education Credits

    For information regarding NATP continuing education certifications, click here. For more information regarding NATP administrative policies, such as complaints and refunds, please contact the NATP office at 800.558.3402, ext. 3.

Tape Recording

    Webcam, video, and/or audiotaping is prohibited.

Advanced Preparation

    Participation in NATP educational programs does not require any advanced preparation, unless stated.

NATP Photography

    Photos will be taken by NATP staff during Conference for NATP use only. By attending this Conference your photo may be used in future NATP publications or on our website.

Learning Objective

    NATP's National Conference & Expo is designed to provide tax and financial professionals with a broad range of educational opportunities.

Recommended Dress

    Dress for Conference is business casual. The Banquet Gala attire is business/formal.

Smoking

    For the comfort and health of all attendees, all NATP meeting rooms and seated functions will be smoke-free. Also, please follow the smoking policy of the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino.

Banquet Ticket Exchange

    Seating for the Banquet Gala must be reserved in the NATP registration area. You may exchange tickets for seat assignments during Conference registration on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Tuesday from 6:45 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Banquet tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable.

Explanation of Levels/Prerequisites

    We acknowledge that tax professionals vary greatly in their experience and in the type of tax returns that they prepare. To help you decide which sessions are right for you, see the following guidelines:

      Update - An update level gives a general review of new developments.

      Basic - A basic level is most appropriate for the professional with little or no experience in the subject area being taught.

      Intermediate - An intermediate level is most appropriate for the professional knowledgeable in the subject area.

      Advanced - An advanced level is designed for professionals with specialized knowledge or experience in the subject area.
