Dear Fellow NATP Members,

In 2006, I attended my first NATP National Conference in Boston. I was so impressed with the caliber of the material presented, how well organized the event was, and how much in common I had with other attendees that I signed on for the 2007 NATP Conference without hesitation. Once again, the education was exceptional. I can honestly say that I got something out of every session I attended. My favorite one was "Disaster Proofing Your Office." We had a mishap in my office in June and ended up with a flooded basement, ruined files, computer, and furniture. It could have been worse but the tips and strategies I learned at Conference helped me.

Although the education was superb, that's not the main reason I'll be attending the 2008 Conference in Atlanta. It's the members. NATP has over 18,500 members across the country just like you and me. Every member has a practice or is an employee of a practice that concentrates on taxes and tax issues on the federal and state level. For me, the best part of the National Conference is the opportunity to network with other tax professionals. I met old friends from last year and made new friends that I look forward to seeing in Atlanta. I also made a point of getting to know other members from my surrounding area for future networking. 

NATP is a unique organization. We have members from across the nation, members with different designations, members from various size firms, but we all have one thing in common - taxes. My NATP membership dues is money well spent. There is no other organization like it out there.
