Summary
Family child care is a business probably more unique than any other. Tax professionals who serve them must understand how tax and business rules affect the family child care business owner. This course will focus on several specialized areas that can make the difference between success and failure for a family child care provider: hiring employees (including family members), setting up a §105 medical reimbursement plan, identifying the pros and cons of the various business structures, choosing retirement plans for child care providers and distinguishing between the rules for nannies/household help and family child care providers.
