2 CPE for EA, CPA, CRTP

$52 for Members and $64 for Nonmembers

Includes conference recording and PowerPoint presentation. CPE is issued after exam is successfully completed.

The IRS audit/examination process has become more “intense and volatile.” Simply providing books and records is no longer enough. Today’s practitioner should be prepared to deal with more intrusive measures from the IRS.

It‘s imperative that tax practitioners and tax representatives be aware of all federal tax laws governing audit procedures. It’s equally important for them to be aware of the material issues of the examination and be extremely knowledgeable of their clients’ background.

Upon the completion of this on-demand webinar, you will be able to:

  • Discuss IRS audit techniques.
  • Explain the importance of the use of Audit Technique Guides.
  • Respond appropriately to questions and requests raised by IRS audit personnel.
  • Discuss the parameters of Field Audits, Office Audits and Correspondence Audits.
  • Effectively work with new audit/exam personnel during current and potential audits of taxpayers.

Presented by: LG Brooks, EA
