Learn how to properly allocate items of income and expenses in the year of death between these two forms. We will cover the basics of who needs to sign these returns and how to file a claim for refund on behalf of a decedent. You’ll also walk away knowing when a final return can and cannot be filed electronically. All tax professionals need this information!
 
Objectives

  • File Form 1310, Statement of Person Claiming Refund Due a Deceased Taxpayer and related documents
