Objectives:
Upon completion of this webinar, you will be able to:
- Properly report accrued interest, original issue discount (OID), government and municipal bond interest reported to your clients.
- Determine when 1099s are required and what boxes should be completed.
- Identify when it's appropriate to issue a 1099 nominee distribution to another taxpayer.
- Handle incorrectly issued 1099s or unissued 1099s.
- Properly report wages when no W-2 has been issued.
