IRS testing to become a Registered Tax Return Preparer (RTRP) is now underway! Are you ready? If yes, you have until March 31, 2012 to take the exam based on 2010 tax law. From April 1 – April 15 the test will be unavailable, during which time the IRS will update the exam questions to reflect 2011 tax law. If you’re not ready to take the exam, don’t sweat it – you have until December 31, 2013 to pass the exam. You have plenty of time.
While you’re working hard through April 17, NATP is updating its RTRP Exam Review Course to reflect 2011 tax law. When you emerge from the busy season, we will have the tools you need to study for and pass the RTRP exam. Whether you choose to study on your own or take a course from NATP, we’ve got you covered!
