Our facilitated online courses let you log in and participate when it's most convenient for you. You will need to spend about an hour a day, three days a week, participating in the online course for maximum effectiveness and to receive credit or successfully pass an exam. You can use any computer with access to the Internet to participate; however, a broadband connection is required. You don't need any special technical skill or knowledge to take part. All you need to know is how to access and navigate the Internet. It's that easy. Plus, you'll have help along the way. Each online course has a facilitator to help guide you through the learning process and answer any questions you may have.
Our self-study courses are available electronically or in textbook format through our Tax Store. Electronic courses are available immediately after purchase. No waiting for materials to arrive. Once you purchase the electronic self-study, you receive an email with a link to the text (PDF copy) and to the exam. EAs and CTEC members receive CPE credits. All other credentialed professionals should check with their state for CPE approval.
Webinars are the perfect solution for busy tax professionals who want superior education when and where they need it. A webinar is defined as a web-based seminar, a presentation, lecture, or workshop that is transmitted over the Internet. You can participate in the live webinar to earn CPE or view the on-demand (recorded) version and take an exam to earn CPE credits. That means you can get tax information and earn CPE with a click of the mouse whether at 3 p.m. or 3 a.m. To determine CPE eligibility, please review the course description for the webinar you are interested in taking.
