Client received a 1099-C with a code: G, have court papers that states that the plaintiff "voluntary dismissed" the case with the courts. Anyone out there had this situation, I need help.
I am looking for a concise document that lists the changes this act created when it went into affect on January 1st. Does the NATP Florida Chapter have any information out there about the procedural changes to a Florida LLC.
With tax season fast approaching, remember your Chapter discussion board can be a great resource for state and local tax issues as well as utilizing the state tax volunteers.
Hello, my name is Theresa and I moved to Tampa, FL in July 2013. I became an NATP member in August 2013. I started preparing taxes in 2004 so the 2014 season will be my tenth year working with tax preparation. I am thinking of starting my own tax service but I'm not sure how to go about it. I won't be working out of an office yet and I live with family so I won't be working from home. My idea was to do a drop off service or mobile tax service and use an online cloud-based software and purchase a laptop for that purpose. I am also working on getting a real estate license and also becoming a notary public. I would like to start preparing to become an enrolled agent next year and I already have a PTIN. I would greatly appreciate any advice that any would like to give. Thank you in advance for your time and advice.
